If you could interview anyone, living or dead, who would it be and why? What sorts of questions would you ask? Remember, you should include a strong topic sentence, supporting sentences, and a concluding sentence. Here's an example:
If I could interview anyone, I would interview J.D. Salinger, the author of Catcher in the Rye and several other short stories and novellas. Salinger remained reclusive throughout his life and died recently, in January of 2010. I would like to ask him about his creative experience while writing Catcher in the Rye such as how he came up with Holden's character, how much his own beliefs were reflected in the character, and why he was so reluctant to answer questions after the book achieved so much success. I would ask him why he never made the book into a movie and how he feels about the fact that Catcher is required reading for many students nowadays. When he was alive, Salinger turned down many interviews and remained an incredibly private author, and for this reason, I would like to probe him with questions about his life and creative process.
I am a huge history lover. I would want to uncover very important facts about the United States. Even though he passed away, I would have loved to interview Lee Harvey Oswald. It would bring peace to many people to find out the murderer of John F. Kennedy. Even though they didn't have the advance ones back then, I would hook up a lie detector to him. The first question I would ask, of course was did he actually kill the president. If he said no, I would ask where you in on it even if you didn't take the shot. I would ask who was involved, if so where was the shot taken from. My guess is he would be unresponsive of these questions and it would be hard to get him to talk at all. I think though, it would still have been a huge breakthrough if we actually had been able to interview him( even if the interview did sound like an investigation). Was Oswald an Important man in history even if he didn't take the shot, yes. Will we ever find out, sadly not. That is why I would want to interview Lee Harvey Oswald.- Mckellar Cox
ReplyDeleteIf I could interview anyone, it would definitely be Kobe Bryant.I would interview him because he is one of the greatest if not the greatest Basketball player of all time. I would ask him things like what is your most memorable game. What is your favorite move of all time. And in your opinion who is the greatest Basketball player of all time. Kobe Bryant is my favorite Basketball player of all time and that is why I would interview him. -Jacob Gavin

ReplyDeleteIf I could interview anyone,in space too, it would probably be Niel Armstrong. I wonder about the space around the earth all the time. I would ask him qestions about how did it feel to be out in space, how did it feel when you could float around in your cabin, how it feels when you know that you are the first man to set foot on the moon, how did it feel when you said "one small step for man, one giant step for mankind? What did the moon look like, how did it feel to jump into the air and jump really far? If I couldn't interveiw neil armstrong, or Buzz Altrin I would want too intervew Steven Tyler

ReplyDeleteEven though they all passed away, I would want to interview a survivor of a ship named the Lusitania.
ReplyDeleteThe Lusitania was a large passenger ship (similar to Titanic). On May 7th, 1915 when she was off the coast of Ireland, a German submarine torpedoed and sunk her. She sank in just 18 minutes and around 1200 people perished, including more than 100 Americans. It was an awful thing the Germans did and it was one of the reasons why the U.S. declared war on Germany in WWI.
I would ask what it would've been like when the torpedo hit the ship. I would ask if they saw the torpedo before it struck the ship and what they were doing when the torpedo hit. I would also ask who they were traveling with.
I want to interview Christopher Paolini. I would ask him what his inspiration to write Eragon was. Another question that I would have asked him is if he thought that it would be a big hit, with numerous people waiting for the second book to come out. Who are some of the writers that he admirers? If there was any thing that he could change in one of the books, what would it be? Christopher Paolini is one of my all time favorite authors, and this is why I would want to interview him.
ReplyDeleteIf i could interview anybody it would have to be rajon rondo point guard of my favorite team the boston celtics and not to mention my favorite player.I would would ask him questions like how'd u get in to basketball whats your favorite go to move and if he had any tips for younger players who are still developing their game.I think rajon rondo is one of the best basketball players in the nba and thats why i would interview him.
ReplyDeleteRondo Randoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo celtics9
ReplyDeleteI would interview Aaron Rodger of the Green Bay Packers, the main component of an already awesome team, not to mention my favorite team. I would ask him things like, how motivated are you to go 19-0, what it felt like to win the Super Bowl, the rush of adrenaline, the joy, and all the hard work and effort paying off. I would also ask him about what it feels like to be having one of the greatest years ever, if not the best ever, and if he takes the games one week at a time or does he ever think about 19-0.
ReplyDeleteAaron Rodgers is a great player and I would love to hear his replies to these questions.

I would interview myself. I would because I know one day i'm going to be famous. I want to remember my childhood, so I can shine light upon my friends, and shun those whom despised me. I would ask myself "What kept me going all through the years?" and I would answer, "Friends!" I would also ask myself "How many of the people whom despised me did I think would change their mind and whished they were nicer to me?" I would answer "All of them." Anyway I know i'm going to be famous and I want to remember all the good and bad memories! -Lindsay Bonner
ReplyDeleteIf I could interview anyone in the world, alive or dead it would have to be Ted Bundy. If I could interview Ted Bundy I would go deep into the mind of a psychopath, learning what would lead somebody to kill, and to lack empathy. I would start out asking him about his child hood, leading up to his teens and finally asking him about his adult life. I believe this would make a interesting interview and help us understand how a psychopath works. Logan
ReplyDeleteIf I could interview any in the world, it would have to be Tom Brady, the quarter back of the New England Patriots. If always seen him as a inspiration in sports. My father always told me how one of his great qualities was he could make a bad play, but he always shook it off and made a better play the next down. I would ask him how he drove himself to become such a great player and what it was like when he first came in after Drew Bledsoe was injured. I think it would be interesting to learn what created one of the best quarter backs in NFL. -jesse
ReplyDeleteIf I could interview anyone I would interview Captain Sullenberger.
ReplyDeleteIf i could interview anyone I would interview Captain Sullenberger. He was the Captain of us airways flight 1549. Flight 1549 crashed into the hudson river in 2009. I would want to interview him because I want to know how he stayed cool calm and collective in that situation.- George
