| A "Utopia" is an imagined place or state of things in which everything is perfect. The word was first used in the book Utopia (1516) by Sir Thomas More. During this unit, we are going to read about worlds that were created to be "perfect" but failed and ended up stripping citizens of choice, individuality, and freedom. |

My perfect world would be about a sixty degree day everyday, sunny, and no wars. We would spend our time doing whatever we wanted to (video games). School, whats school? We have brain chips that are inserted by shots as a new born to make you gradually level up to your total brain capacity. People would eat about the same things we do now, but we can choose our body shape with the brain chip. Peoples jobs would be chosen by what they would like to do as long as its not too crowded. If the job was to crowded, then they would just find another. There would be a barter system. The quality of the item depends on what you can trade for it. This is my perfect world.-Mckellar Cox
ReplyDeleteIn my perfect world everyone would get paid to go to school. People would choose their jobs by what they wanted to do. Although you would have to be decent but, it would be alot easier than the real world.People would eat what they wanted to whenever they wanted to but, you would not take other peoples food because everyone would have their own supply. Most people would not be poor. It would be rare to be poor because of how much money you receive for simple things. Although, people who are poor would get financial help.
ReplyDeleteIn my utopia, everyone would exist in pods. The pods would simulate the persons paradise. Outside the pods, automated mechs would repair, produce, and do everything for the society asleep in the pods. The pods would be contained in large underground complexes. in the above world except for a small city that housed the mechs and their farms and factories, wild life has retaken the world. Do to medical technology advancements, the people in the pods barely age and exist forever in the paradises the pods created for them.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all in my Utopia there would be no school. You would swallow a pil specified for a subject and you would instantly know everything about that subject. Second we would have a drink that tasted your favorite taste, and satisfied your hunger for 20 years with only one gulp. Third you would not need to walk because we had reversed gravity and could float. Fourth you would have an special room inside you house in which you culd imagine anything and it would become real, specially automated computers read you brain waves and make a REAL perspective of the scene you are imagining. Fifth we would have an instant reversal age potion in wich you could make yourself whatever age you wanted to be. Sixth there wuold be no bullies, drugs, cigars, and any evil person(s) or item(s), if any one got bright ideas their thoughts would be read by invisible patroling police robots and the person(s) would be terminated. Seventh there would be no use for jobs because everything has no power source except for humans and the most coplicated part is the on, off switch (plus there would be no money). Eighth and final there would be an age limit of 200 years for a person unless they have a special reason to stay around such as having being the person to invent everything in my perfect world! -Lindsay Bonner
ReplyDeleteIn my Utopia the world would be like your dream , only the great ones. You would get the food you wanted the girl's' you wanted the palce you wanted to live and whatever you want yours if you think of it. No jobs no cares in the world. no one die no war unless you dreamed of it.

In my Utopia, everyone would be able to see what ever climate and temperature they wanted to. To learn, everyone would have a special helmet that they would sleep in. When they slept, they would everything that they needed to in their sleep! The part of a persons brain that had all of the evil thoughts would be surgically removed at birth. The world would be one gigantic party one no one would die. There would be never ending food, and the food was what ever you wanted it to be. That goes for your drink as well.
ReplyDeletewhats up will say, did say, and is saying, FOXY VANCE ***** (is not nice)
ReplyDeleteMy pefect world would be a world were the laws were that you had to own a pair of jet packs so that nobody could get run over or hurt by land animals, and things(law does not affect people age 19 and under). The second law would be to have fun and be nice, The third law was to pay all your money to the gov. to live. the fourth law is to ignore the third law, and to ignore any other laws that people make up after this law.
We would have an infinite food suplier that did photosynthisys and made Flawp sugar, that had all fatening properties taken out of it. It also made you really full. There would be a Glamprap water that would make you really strong if you poured your Flawp sugar into it.
The houses would be magnets and they would be floating on ground magnet pads. The way this works is that the magnetic push wuld push opposite sides away from each other.(the house and the pad) This would make the house float on air. On the edges of the pads there would be walls to keep the house from floating off the pad by litely pushing the house back into the middle with a magnetic push. These walls would be just short enough to withstand, tsunamies, earthquakes, tornados and hurricanes. The magnet pads and magnet houses would be able to have the magnitism weakend or streghthend.
We would have infinite energy. We would use solar power, sisma power,(we would have magnets that when they bounced up and down from an earthquake, they would create energey, kind of like the flashlights that you have to shake them to work)wind energy, and storm energy.( we would have lightning rods that went above ground and when lightning hit them, the lightning would be distributed over to hundreds of electric stations that would catch each part of their lightning.)
There would be no jobs, no school, no sickness, and no starvation. EVERYTHING would be free and school would be a chekup like thing. You sit down in a reclining chair and everything you needed to know for the year would flash by you from a TV screen. The Legtar air would make your brain remember everything played from an electronic device. The checkup only lasts five minites. The TV fast fowards super fast so that their done in three minites, but most people need two more minites to recooperate their senses. Your brain cathes everything even when super fast fowarded. The chekup chamber is in the most defended places in MY Utopia. If sombody got hold of the gases then that would be very bad, also if someone got down there while sombody else was having a checkup with some sort of ipod or electronic, They could mess it all up and make the person believe that he was Fruit Ninja or somthing. ALL JOBS are run by and created by robots.
That is my Utopia
This is too long isin't it
ReplyDeleteIf it is thats too bad cause I haven't even wrote part two yet.
just kiddi'n
My perfect world would be a place where all the ancient culture still thrived like the Mayans and the Aztecs. In this world instead of having one culture rule we would have both living peacefully together, like the modern americans and the native americans. In this world there is also a super fast yet super efficient way of transportation so instead of teaching about ancient cultures you could have first hand experience. If this world gets to overly populated we would kill evenly across the board so we don't kill of one race of people. We would have no universal food we would have what the cultures traditional dishes were. There will still be sports.
